So it's come to this. We broke our one rule. We prepared for an episode. We've had 32 episodes of unprepared audio piped right into your ears and now we've let you down. We've threatened it before, but this time we followed through. We're sorry.

This week Jesse and Kevin talk about the animated sitcom spectrum, tightly packed humor, cartoon violence, things Jesse doesn't know about The Simpsons, Seth McFarland, hired goons, evil pig guys, Joomps Wobbin, what high school libraries look like, Dawson Casting, everything in the 90s was ugly, clerical errors in the afterlife, and New York accents.

It's the last episode of Unprepared of 2016! We made it! And by we I mean Jesse and Kevin. You and I know both know that measures of time are pretty arbitrary, and the whole "2016" meme doesn;t actually mean anythign will get better in th new year. But you have to start somewhere. Happy end of 2016 everybody. This week Jesse and Kevin talk about Star Wars.

Dec 9, 2016

This week Jesse and Kevin talk about exploiting workers, protecting your privacy, weird copyright situations, movies and tv shows that are objectively bad, and some that are obviously good.

Jesse updated how he does the links, so Kevin has even less work to do in describing the episode for these notes. Did you know Jesse edits each episode? And writes the Links section you always find below these notes? All Kevin does is upload the episodes, writes these short blurbs and manages the hosting. And I guess they both keep showing up to talk to each other. So that's where they share the load some. Also Jesse and Kevin both write things in the third person when writing about the episodes. I guess it gives everything a sense of being a part of something larger. Like if they had an unpaid intern who did all the grunt work, and Jesse and Kevin just show up. But no. It's just Jesse and Kevin, doing everything.

It's true, Jesse forgot to turn on his microphone when we recorded this episode. And then Kevin wrote a really funny, and very long shownote about it. (It may not have been that funny, but it was long.) Then the page crashed and it was lost. We give up.

Here's 3 hours and 14 minutes of Kevin talking while you can kind of hear Jesse in the background.

 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nov 25, 2016

This week Jesse and Kevin talk about some stuff. I'll be honest, It's Black Friday as I post this and I haven't had time to listen to this and write the show notes. I was gorging myself on turkey and mashed potatoes. Let's look at the links below, maybe that will give us a hint. So there's something about apples. I don't even remember talking about the book Ishmae, but I gues we did. And figs have wasps in them? That's terrifying. Bake Off is a good show, you should probably watch that.

This one's a doozy. I hope you like listening to Jesse and Kevin talk (You listen to this podcast don't you?) because this episode is almost 2 and a half hours long. Which happens when we sit down to record and end up with over 5 hours of audio. We just cant stop talking. That might also explain why the latest episode is a few days late.

This week we talk about, making cider, other podcasts we like, buying clothes and some other stuff. Look the episode is over 2 hours long, I can't list everything.
